June 21st - Basket Weaving Workshop

Ever heard of underwater basket weaving? It’s a real thing! Join art educator Kelly Lesser in this fun workshop! Kelly will teach you how to use natural reed to weave a small basket with a traditional structure. You should be able to complete your basket during the 3 hour class time. All materials will be provided. Participants will learn about a few other basket patterns, in case you want to keep weaving on your own!

About Kelly Lesser - Kelly Lesser is an art educator in the Omaha Public Schools and an avid pursuer of all things creative. She is married to a saint with whom she shares two amazing and mostly self-sufficient adult children, as well as a ridiculous number of pets. Kelly also entertains herself as a face painter for parties and events.
