April 7th - Easter Egg Decorating Workshop

Join Julia for an evening of Easter themed art making! In this Spring workshop, learn about the beautiful history of the Ukrainian art of pysanka, or decorating eggs, a tradition that predates the Christian era. Students will use a kistka (a tool used for pysanka) & beeswax to draw their designs onto eggs. Finally, dip eggs into various natural dyes. Students will leave with their very own decorated eggs plus all the materials to create their own pysanky at home - natural dye kit, beeswax & a kistka of your own!
