This winter, Autumn from Hardy Coffee Co. reached out to me with a fun creative opportunity—illustrating a design for a T-shirt for one of their locations. If you know me, you know this was right up my alley. I love coffee, and one of my ongoing “back burner” projects is a café-themed coloring book, so getting to create artwork inspired by a local coffee shop felt like the perfect way for us to collaborate.
I started thinking about a style that would translate well to a one-color screen printed shirt, while still feeling bold and graphic. I used India ink—something that would print clearly on fabric but also work beautifully as a coloring page.

I scanned my lifework and cleaned up some of the imperfections in Photoshop.

After refining the composition and finalizing the line work, the shirts are now ready for print. If you’d like one for yourself, you can preorder through this link until March, 27th!

Supporting collaborations like this helps keep local art and local coffee thriving—and I’m so grateful to Hardy Coffee Co. for trusting me with the design.
