Custom Home Illustration – Limited Spring Opening (Only 5 Available)

This Spring, I’m opening my books for a limited number of custom home illustrations. 

I will be accepting only 5 commissions — once these spots are filled, booking will close. This is a rare chance to commission a painting of your home as I typically turn down these requests during my busy Farmers Market Season come Summer.

Each illustration will be:
• Hand-painted in watercolor
• Created on 140 lb professional watercolor paper
• 11 x 14 inches
• An original, one-of-a-kind artwork signed in pencil by me!

These custom paintings make beautiful heirloom pieces, anniversary gifts, housewarming gifts, or a way to preserve a memory you’ll never forget. This offering can include churches, venues or buildings I haven't yet painted in my collection. 

Investment: $650 per custom painting

After purchase, you will receive instructions for submitting clear reference photos of your home along with any specific details you’d like included.

Please allow adequate time for completion, as each piece is thoughtfully created by hand. Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

What to Expect – Timeline & Process

Here’s how my illustrative process will work:

Step 1: Secure Your Spot
Purchase your commission to reserve one of the 5 available openings. Once spots are filled, booking will close.

Step 2: Submit Your Photos (Within 5 Days of Purchase)
You’ll receive an email with instructions for submitting:
• Clear, high-resolution photos of your home
• Any special details you’d like included - sorry, no people or pets
• Notes about sentimental elements

Step 3: Painting Process (4 Weeks)
Your home will be carefully illustrated in watercolor & pen on 140 lb paper at 11 x 14 inches.
Each piece is created by hand — no digital shortcuts — so timing allows for layering, drying, and thoughtful detail work.

Step 4: Delivery or Shipping

• Omaha & Council Bluffs Clients: Your finished painting will be personally delivered.
• Out-of-Town Clients: Your artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped flat with tracking. Shipping costs will be invoiced separately from the commission price.

You will be notified as soon as your painting is complete and ready for delivery or shipment. I can't wait to make a masterpiece for you! 

Refund Policy

Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of these original watercolor illustrations, all sales are final. Once your commission is purchased and your spot is secured, no refunds or cancellations will be accepted. Thank you for understanding and respecting the time, materials, and care that go into every original piece.
