Create your own Acrylic Suncatcher

Join Artist Bee Stinson in this fun DIY acrylic workshop!

• participants will learn about acrylic and what thicknesses work best for different projects
• participants will select pieces from the 'acrylic bar.'
• participants will learn how to use jewelry tools and jump rings to assemble their suncatcher
• participants will leave with a finished suncatcher and resource guide on best practices when working with acrylic
• available for purchase will be tools, DIY kits, and shape bundles for future projects

About the instructor: Bee moved to Omaha from New York in 2015 to work for the University of Nebraska. Outside of the 9-5, Bee spends her time crocheting sweaters, turning acrylic into earrings and watching all the basketball she can. She opened her Etsy shop in 2014 because she ran out of space for all her creations. Since then, her side hustle, Pineapple Phi, has amassed more than 3,000 online sales. When she's not thinking about learning new crochet stitches, she can be found at one of the Goodwills within the Omaha Metro.

For who: This workshop is perfect for anyone with very little art experience. It is recommended for ages 12+ up.
